The musician and producer Timbaland has acquired two apartments in the new residential tower “Aria on the Bay” in Miami for a total of 3 million US dollars (approx. 2.45 million euros). The two apartments will be converted into one single residence spanning approx. 437 square meters altogether. This combined unit will be complemented by a terrace of approx. 121 square meters. The Grammy winner purchased the properties through Engel & Völkers Miami Coral Gables, in cooperation with Coldwell Banker and Cervera Real Estate.
The apartment tower is currently taking shape directly on Biscayne Bay in Miami’s up-and-coming Arts & Entertainment neighborhood. The 53-story development will boast luxurious amenities such as two swimming pools, a fitness area with a yoga studio, a private spa, and a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk. Completion is scheduled for March 2018.
Views over Biscayne Bay
The expansive apartment that Timbaland will soon be calling home has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, as well as offering 180° views overlooking Biscayne Bay and the ocean. Two private elevators and foyers are also included with the sale price. Timbaland was particularly impressed with the central location in the heart of Miami, the Bayfront location, and the range of amenities. Miami is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States, with a vast array of cultural attractions and many miles of sandy beaches.
Timbaland has been in the music business since the mid-1990s and is one of the most successful producers in the world. He has worked with artists including Destiny’s Child, Jay Z, OneRepublic and Madonna, as well as releasing his own albums. His latest production is the studio album “Man of the Woods” by Justin Timberlake, which is due for release in February.
